Sudan is in crisis
Your support can save lives
Sudan Faces One of the World’s Worst Humanitarian Crises
Over 30 million people are suffering from hunger, displacement, and the collapse of essential services. Humaniti’s teams are working on the ground inside Sudan to deliver emergency aid to families in urgent need.

Sudan on the Brink of Collapse
Sudan is enduring one of the most severe humanitarian emergencies in the world today. Violence has devastated cities, destroyed homes, and left millions of people without food, clean water, or medical care.
More than 30 million people urgently need assistance, and conditions continue to deteriorate as conflict spreads and basic services break down.

Famine Reaches Critical Levels
Regions such as El Fasher in Darfur and Kadugli in South Kordofan have reached Famine (IPC Phase 5), confirmed by international agencies. Families are facing life-threatening hunger and children are at extreme risk of severe malnutrition. Access to aid is extremely limited, and the situation grows more dire each day.

Humaniti’s Response on the Ground
Thanks to ongoing support, Humaniti continues to operate inside Sudan, reaching displaced families and communities in the hardest-hit areas. Our teams are overcoming dangerous conditions and limited access to deliver urgent assistance where it’s needed most.
List of Support Provided:
- Emergency food parcels for families facing starvation
- Clean water and hygiene kits to prevent disease
- Medical supplies for clinics treating the injured and malnourished
- Winter aid including blankets and heating support
- Shelter assistance for families who have lost their homes
A Crisis of Hunger, Displacement, and Collapse
- More than 12 million people have been displaced since April 2023
- The crisis has become the largest displacement emergency in the world
- 30.4 million people require humanitarian assistance
- 24 million experienced severe food insecurity from Dec 2024 to May 2025
- 635,000 people are living in famine-like conditions
- Over 70 percent of hospitals are damaged or non-functional
Despite these overwhelming conditions, Humaniti remains present, providing life-saving support when few organizations can reach the affected areas.
